The designs employ circle, square, ellipse, curve, line, and angle to produce patterns that combine balance, asymmetry, swirl, and mathematical exactitude. Some seem to recede, advance, shimmer, and dazzle in the manner of 'op' art while others show unexpected shifts in focus and eye centre.
