Over 350 floral and foliated arrangements selected from Victorian era sources, such as The Art Journal, The Illustrated London News and Harpers Weekly, as well as in books produced by some of the leading designers of the day. Others were used as architectural ornaments or as patterns for textiles, porcelain and silverware. Taken together, they reflect the changing tastes of the Victorian era, ranging in style from stately neoclassical designs to motifs from the Arts and Crafts movement to luxurious examples of Art Nouveau illustration.
