This work has never been superseded as a lifetime reference work for animators, illustrators, artists and students. Animals are shown walking, running, leaping, and flying. The horse alone is shown in more than 40 different ways: galloping with nude rider, trotting, pacing, cantering, jumping hurdles, rolling and barrels, and running with sulky.
